What’s your favorite memory of your mom?

My mother and I go to Paducah, Ky., to the American Quilter’s Society show every year together. It’s such a special time. That has given me a new appreciation of her, now that we’re both adults.

What’s your favorite memory of your mom?

My mother used to take classes and she would sign me up to take them with her. I remember we took a ceramics class where we learned to airbrush. I mostly remember both of us taking classes together.
