9/11 prayer gathering set for Friday

There will be a 9/11 Patriot Day Prayer Gathering at the Garfield County Courthouse from noon to 1 p.m. today.

This will be to remember the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S.

This is part of a nationwide cry for a spiritual awakening in the United States. Gatherings are planned at courthouses in all 50 states as part of the Cry Out America project. This is part of the Awakening America Alliance.

According to a news release, the gaol of the event is to “claim this day of prayer to fully awaken America to return to the Lord and to mark this significant day in its history with powerful prayer in every state, every county and every heart.”
