Once again, residents of Garfield County demonstrated how much they love to snap photos. With the Winter 2006 “A Day in the Life of Garfield County” edition, we received more than 150 photos from over 80 photographers.

There really is something special about seeing a photo that you took appear in a publication. Unfortunately, we could not get photos in from everyone who sent them in. But, when the next “A Day in the Life …’ section comes out, give it another shot.

The photos also show the diversity of our county, in both the landscape and the people.

We have photos of mountains, sunsets, livestock, pets and people. Photos that give us a little snapshot of some of the things that happened on Feb. 3, 2006.

“A Day in the Life of Garfield County” is a truly unique venture that allows you the photographer to dictate what we include in this section.

It looks like everyone had plenty of fun getting out and capturing the images. Now it’s time for the rest of us to enjoy your photos.
