A suggestion for veterinarians
Dear Editor,
There is at least one vet who cares enough to be on call for emergencies, but she certainly can’t handle emergencies, regular practice and family responsibilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What we need is coordinated schedule among all the vets so they can have the necessary rest required by everyone and still meet the emergency needs of the communities. They could rotate the “on call” duties among them and someone would always be available.
How about it, veterinarians in the Glenwood, New Castle, Silt, Rifle, Parachute areas?
