Accident at well pad injures two

A flow line breached by a contractor working on a Williams well pad injured two men Thursday. The accident occurred at 10:40 a.m. on a pad located on Wheeler Gulch Road, approximately five miles northwest of Parachute, said Williams spokeswoman Susie Manicom.Flow lines, which contain natural gas under pressure, connect wells with production equipment.The workers who were injured are with Advanced Oil Field Services of Rifle, Manicom said. They were both taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. Their condition was unknown at press time. Phone calls to Advanced Oil Field Services were not immediately returned.
