Agnes Tylenda

Agnes Tylenda of Rifle died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at her home. She was 80.

She was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Grand Junction to Agnes and Frank Koshak.

She married Clyde Hiner. He preceded her in death in 1966.



She married Leon Tylenda. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. Tylenda lived in Rifle her entire life.



She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Rifle.

She was a loving mother and had many friends.

Mrs. Tylenda is survived by daughters and son-in-law Linda Trujillo of Rifle, Sherry Lubking of Nampa, Idaho, and Pam and Jim Martin of Rifle; by a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Regina Hiner of Albuquerque, N.M.; and by grandchildren Darren Trujillo, Jennifer Cavagnaro, Kenneth Hiner, Phillip Terry, Bryan Terry, Isaac Martin and Seth Martin.

A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Jan. 30, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rifle.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Hehn officiating.

Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Rifle.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
