Albert "Shorty" Williamson

Albert “Shorty” Williamson, 76, of Eagle, Colo. passed away Nov. 26, 2011 at Heritage Park Care Center in Carbondale, Colo. Albert was born Nov. 21, 1935 to Ralph and Nellie Williamson in Denver, CO.

On Aug. 11, 1957, he married the love of his life Beverly Ann Claypool in Denver, Colo. He was a member of the St. James Presbyterian Church. Albert served in the National Guard and was a member of AICPA and PDAP. Albert is survived by his wife Beverly of 54 years; son Craig Williamson; daughters Kristina Coler and Cynthia Gershenoff; brothers Glenn and Robert Williamson; daughter-in-law Kristie Williamson; six grandchildren: Seth, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Noah, Hannah, and Rebekah. Albert is preceded in death by his parents; sister Evelyn Green; sister Dorothy Allen; son-in-law Marc Gershenoff. There will be a celebration of life Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. James Presbyterian Church 3601 W. Belleview Ave, Littleton, Colo., 80123, with officiating clergy Patti Anderson.

Albert was God sent as a husband, father and grandfather.
