Glenwood Springs resident, 84

Albert Williams, of Glenwood Springs, Colo., died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. He was 84.

Mr. Williams was born Feb. 21, 1918, in Denver, Colo. He lived there until he was 14, when he moved to Grand Junction, Colo. In 1984, he moved to Glenwood Springs.

He worked part time, volunteered and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Glenwood Springs.

Mr. Williams had a great love for animals, particularly cats. His hobby was art work.

He was a client at Mountain Valley Developmental Services and later in his life was a resident of Glen Valley Care Center.

He is survived by many close and dear friends.

A funeral was held Aug. 15 in Glenwood Springs, with the Rev. Roy Altman officiating. Burial was at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.
