Americans share in unreturned payroll taxes of illegals
Dear Editor,
What an insulting and demeaning letter from Mr. Anderson. For whatever reason, legitimate employers (read that “legal”) are required to deduct Social Security and income taxes from wages and send those funds to the government.
Those monies are shared by all of us, in one form or another, since most of those funds go unclaimed. And please tell me, Mr. Anderson, where are the facts that one-third of Mexico’s income comes from cash monies sent from the United States?
It sounds like the so-called “fact,” even perpetrated by one of our former Republican presidents about the welfare woman, (obviously nonwhite) driving to the welfare office and sending in her children to pick up her welfare check. It’s an old propagandist trick that if you say it often enough it’s bound to accepted as true.
So, “duh” to you, Mr. Anderson.
