Anganette E. Eagan

Anganette E. Eagan, 91, of New Castle, passed away Jan. 21, 2008, at the Veteran’s Nursing Home in Rifle.

Anganette was born July 24, 1916, in Lynchburg, Tenn., to Addison and Edith (Baxter) Gardner.

She married Roger Eagan Jan. 24, 1942, in Boulder. They had one daughter.



Anganette was a retired meat wrapper and enjoyed volunteering at the Aurora Senior Center in her later years. She loved reading, music, dancing and chocolate.

Anganette is survived by her daughter Roanne (William C.) Bradford of New Castle; sister Marguerite Noble of Garden Grove, Calif.; grandchildren William R. (Rebecca) Bradford of Thornton, and Danice (Kevin) Kindall of Delta; and great-grandchildren Whitney, Jessica, Jordan and Taylor Bradford and Megan and Ashley Kindall.



She was preceded in death by her husband, who was killed in action in World War II.

Cremation has taken place, and services are being planned for a later date.
