Angelina L. Cretti

Angelina Cretti, 84, passed away peacefully July 28, 2008, at her family home on Silt Mesa. She was born Aug. 7, 1923.Angelina “Angie” will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend and caretaker of her family and many others in Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley. She will be dearly missed by many. Everyone who had the opportunity to know her was touched by her heart of gold.Angie had a strong and enduring faith in God and helped anyone who was in need. She was an industrious lady who helped the less fortunate and elderly sharing her faith and trust in the Lord. In her spare time, she would help to tend the garden, ridding the garden of weeds to allow the good to flourish and become productive. Along with her family, she loved the outdoors and the beauty of nature. She was passionate about feeding the wild birds, which she dearly loved to watch.Angelina is survived by son John; brother Leo Zang; sisters Jemma and Emma Zang; grandchildren Jason, Justin, Jinny and Jonathan Cretti. Angelina’s wishes were not to conduct funeral services, but to celebrate her life by tending to today’s garden and doing good deeds.
