Anna Faye Chelette

Anna Faye Chelette, of Glenwood Springs, Colo., died on Thursday, March 21, 2002, in Glenwood Springs. She was 82.

She was born Nov. 7, 1919, in Houston, Texas, to Gerald Archer and Ruth Ione Waddell.

She married Woodrow Wilson Chelette, and they were married for 40 years. He preceded her in death.



Mrs. Chelette worked as a Welcome Wagon hostess in her neighborhood.

She reached out to everyone and had many friends. She loved her church and taught Sunday School to young children. She also brought meals to families in times of need.



Mrs. Chelette is survived by: daughter Anna Chalet, of New Castle, Colo.; grandson Nolan Chalette Conley; and great-grandchildren Melissa Conley, Nolan Alexander Conley and Kristina Conley.

Services and burial will be held in Houston.

Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
