Anne Moschner

Anne Moschner, 95, passed away September 8, 2006. Anne was born Anne Matilda Mance on Jan. 5, 1911, in Cle Elum, Wash. She spent her youth there and later worked at the Vogue Theater and J.C. Penney Co.Anne married Andrew Moschner May 10, 1947, and they lived in Cle Elum until 1965, when they moved to Glenwood Springs. Upon Andrew’s death in 1996, Anne moved to Palisade, where she spent her remaining years.She is survived by daughters Marian (Dan) Hughes of Carbondale and Linda (Lawrence) of Palisade; grandchildren Travis (Beth) Hughes of Basalt, Timothy Hughes of Denver, Anne (Merlin) Namuth of Broomfield, and Benjamin (Jennifer) Cordray of Bremerton, Wash.; great-granddaughters Gabrielle Namuth, Margaret, Rebekah and Emma Cordray, and Jessica and Stephanie Hughes; nieces Carmen Waters of Portland, Ore., and Doranne Strom of Stevenson, Wash.Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at the Snell-McLean Funeral Home in Palisade.A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Palisade.Arrangements are in the care of Snell-McLean Funeral Home in Palisade.
