Area artists make T-shirts for WindWalkers

Five area artists have signed up to design a limited T-shirt collection to benefit WindWalkers and the program’s horses.

WindWalkers Equine Assisted Learning & Therapeutic Center is a nonprofit organization that for 10 years has offered therapeutic riding sessions, horsemanship lessons, group programming and equine-assisted counseling to those with both physical and mental disabilities or issues.

The artists — Marcel Majid Kahhak, Jessica McMahon, Ruth Mollman, Summers Moore and Susan Obermeyer-Strauss — will hold a public reception from 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday at 411 Main St. in Carbondale. Shirts will be for sale there.
