Colo. competitors fared well at dog agility event

Colorado competitors fared well at the 2015 Dogs on Course National Dog Agility Championships in Carbondale.

The event will be held again next year at North Face Park Sept. 23-25.

In the North America Challenge National Event, Specialist Level:



• Kathy Kerns (Clifton) and her dog Freeda took second in the 16-inch Specialist Level in the Competition Division for the National Event.

• Ginnie Farnsworth (Cedaredge) and her dog Scooter took third at 16-inch Height Specialist Level in the Veteran Division for the National Event.



In the North America Challenge National Event, Intern Level:

• Farnsworth and Rhett won the 8-inch Veteran Level in the Veteran Division for the National Event.

In the 20-inch Height local competitors took 1st, 2nd and 3rd nationally:

• Daryl Pubillones (Whitewater) and her dog Rosie won the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for the National Event.

• Chery Herhahn (Carbondale) and her dog Ruby took second.

• Frank Pubillones (Whitewater) and his dog Jazmine took third.

In the Specialist Level for the Regional Standard Agility Event final results:

• Kerns and Freeda won the 16-inch Specialist level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

• Terri Sano (Carbondale) and her dog Mollie were second in the 16-inch Specialist Level in the Select Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

William Lukes (Carbondale) and his dog Kate were second in the 16-inch Specialist Level in the Veteran Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

In the Intern Level for the Regional Standard Agility Event final results:

• Farnsworth and Rhett won the 8-inch Veteran level in the Veteran Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

• Daryl Pubillones (Whitewater) and her dog Rosie won the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

• Daryl Pubillones and her dog Dodge took second in the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

• Frank Pubillones and Jazmine were third in the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

In the Specialist Level for the Regional Jumpers Agility Event final results:

• Kerns and Freeda were second in the 16-inch Specialist Level in the Competition Division for Regional Jumpers Agility Event.

• Sano and Mollie won the 16-inch Specialist Level in the Select Division for Regional Jumpers Agility Event.

• Carol Parker (Longmont) and her dog Charlie won the 20-inch Veteran Level in the Veteran Division for Regional Jumpers Agility Event.

In the Intern Level for the Regional Jumpers Agility Event Final Results:

• Farnsworth and Rhett won the 8-inch Veteran level in the Veteran Division for Regional Jumpers Agility Event.

• Herhahn and her Ruby won the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

Daryl Pubillones and Dodge were second in the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.

Frank Pubillones and Jazmine were third in the 20-inch Intern level in the Competition Division for Regional Standard Agility Event.
