Applications available for 118th annual Strawberry Days Parade

Applications for the Strawberry Days Parade are now available at strawberrydays.com. The parade takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, on Grand Avenue from Eighth Street to Strawberry Park. Parade applications are due June 1. This year’s “Glenwood Rocks” parade will feature the traditional Miss Strawberry Days entourage, community floats that never cease to amaze, live music and much more. Grand marshals include Jeannine Ford Artaz, John Reeves and the Beckley family. Floats will be divided into categories including: Commercial/Business, Political Candidates and Nonprofit/Organizations. Floats will be judged, and winners will be recognized for creativity and adhering to this year’s theme. So get your company or organization together now to create the most rockin’ float.
