Cody Brickell Miniature Golf Fundraiser

The Cody Brickell Miniature Golf Fundraiser to benefit the Glenwood Springs High School wrestling program will be from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Johnson’s Park, 51579 Highway 6 in Glenwood Springs. Learn to Brew Your Own Beer

Curious about the process of brewing beer? Then come to the Carbondale Branch Library at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at to harvest the hops grown at the library, talk about the equipment needed to brew beer at home, and discuss the process of brewing for the novice homebrewer with Chase Engel, founder and head brewer at the Roaring Fork Beer Co. By the end of class you’ll be ready to brew 5-gallon batches of your own suds at home. For more information, call 970-963-2889.

Rifle High School Class of 1965 reunion

The Rifle High School Class of l965 invites all former students who attended RHS from 1962-1968 for a reunion to take place, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20. At 9 a.m. Saturday meet at the Farm Fresh Cafe at l733 Railroad Ave. for breakfast and pastries. At 6 p.m. Saturday meet at the Rifle Creek Golf Course for complimentary snacks, punch and socializing. At 11 a.m. Sunday meet at Scott and Linda Brynildson’s home at 1464 CR 293 for a pot luck lunch and more socializing.

Dog Wash fundraiser for Yampah Mountain High School trips

There will be a dog wash for Yampah Mountain High School’s educational and service trips from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at High Tails Dog and Cat Outfitters, 50633 Highway 6 (West Glenwood, west of the mall). Cost is $15 per dog.
