NeuroMovement classes

NeuroMovement (based on Feldenkrais) is movement that talks to the brain. The brain is the CEO of your body. You can work on the muscles and joints for years but the reorganization of how you ultimately move comes from the brain. NeuroMovement is slow, nonforced with plenty of variations and accessible to all. Backed by neuroscience, this movement will create immediate improvements in movement, posture, breathing and reduction or elimination of chronic discomforts. This is not yoga or exercise but it will help you to do both of these things better. Jessi Hastings, RN, medial masseuse and yoga teacher for 20 years is offering free classes in Glenwood to introduce her work. The classes are Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Providence Apothecary, 713 Cooper Ave. The free classes will run through October starting Oct. 6. Call Jessi at 970-946-8968 for questions or to register.
