Rifle football raffle

A raffle to benefit the Rifle High School football team is under way. Tickets are $20 or three for $50, with all proceeds going to the football team. The drawing will be held on the day of the last home game on Oct. 30. Two winners will receive one-half beef each, including processing and wrap. Tickets are available at the RHS office, Hy-Way Feed in Silt, NAPA in Rifle and all home games.

Help kids in crisis

Project PACK (Providing A Crisis Kit) is a grassroots group partnering with local child advocates and law enforcement to provide local kids in crisis necessary personal items in times when they cannot return home. Community members can adopt a pack, stuff it and return it to a local drop location. Contact Project PACK at or on Facebook for more information.
