Food and craft vendors wanted

Apply now for booth space in the fourth annual El Jebel Winter Market at Eagle Crest Nursery, 0400 Gillespie Drive in El Jebel. The market occurs every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 5 through March 12. There are different booth sizes and options for participants. Weekly meet-up for vets



All veterans and their families are invited for coffee and donuts at the Glenwood Springs Library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Thursday. Event is free and provides a great way for vets to connect with other vets. Visit http://www.rmhumanservices.org/wsvc for more information.

Veterans Day Project with GrassRoots TV



In honor of Veterans Day, the Carbondale Branch Library is partnering with GrassRoots Community Network and its Roaring Fork Veterans History Project to show several interviews with former soldiers from different conflicts, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Medicare open enrollment

Medicare open enrollment is here. Until Dec. 7, people can compare Medicare benefits for the next year and change their prescription drug plan, Medicare D, or Medicare Advantage Plan. Trained counselors from High Country RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) are available to help with free, unbiased assistance. Call High Country RSVP at 970-384-8744 and a volunteer will call to schedule an appointment.
