The 18th annual Christmas Home Tour, sponsored by P.E.O. Chapter IP in Battlement Mesa-Parachute, will take place from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Proceeds from this yearly event go to the chapter’s scholarship fund. The four homes chosen for this year’s tour are unique and beautiful. Whites and creams throughout an Italian home glisten and will definitely warm your heart. Stepping into another home is like stepping into a Christmas wonderland. There are 12 decorated trees including an Elvis tree and the “critter corner.” You will also see over 100 Santas of varying shapes and sizes. A home with a warm Tuscan feel and expansive views of the Colorado River Valley includes a unique Genealogy Christmas tree. Coffee, hot cider and cookies will be served at the Battlement Historic School. Tickets are $12. More information is available by calling 970-285-5627. Tickets may be purchased from P.E.O.
