Model auditions for Green Is The New Black Fashion Extravaganza

Audition for the Green is the New Black Fashion Extravaganza from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12; and from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the Calaway Room at the Third Street Center in Carbondale.

Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities is seeking enthusiastic and creative community members, ages 18 and older, to be volunteer models for the show taking place March 14 and 15.

This year’s theme is Down The Rabbit Hole and will be quirky, festive and fun.

All models must attend one of the two auditions in order to participate in this year’s show. Rehearsals will begin Sunday, Feb. 2. For information call CCAH at (970) 963-1680.

Call for designers for the CCAH Fashion Show

Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities is calling all designers interested in creating a sustainable fashion line to participate in the 2014 Green is the New Black Fashion Extravaganza.

This year’s theme is Down the Rabbit Hole and is sure to be better than ever.

Designers who are interested in participating can find more information and an application at or the CCAH office in the Third Street Center.
