Lenten Service III

The First United Methodist Church remembers the Lenten Season with four distinct services to help guide you through the journey of Lent. Everyone from every walk of life and every stage of faith is welcome. The Lenten journey continues at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, with a workshop lead by Kiffany Brown on the Integrations of Spiritual Energy and Body. Free child care is provided. Pasta La Vista

Glenwood Springs Elementary School presents Pasta La Vista, a family fun night from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 11. Enjoy a hearty pasta dinner; find entertainment at the Family Fun Fair, where you can try your luck at the wheel of fortune, bingo and cupcake walk; show your talent at the Wii dance off; and tap into your silly side with face painting and fun races. Entry into the fair is $3 per child, and adults are free. Bid on silent auction items such as Rockies or Avalanche tickets, a round of golf at Aspen Glen, restaurant certificates and gift baskets. Dinner tickets can be purchased in advance at the GSES front office at 915 School St. Advance dinner tickets are $5 per person or $7 per person at the door.
