Staff Work Day closure

All six branches of the Garfield County Libraries will be closed Wednesday, April 16, for a staff training day. Normal library hours will resume at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 17. Patrons can still browse and request books, movies, and more at, during the closure.

Peace Corps: One Woman Shares her Experience

A former Peace Corps volunteer shares photos and information about her experiences serving overseas. Questions and conversation welcomed. This event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at the Rifle Branch Library. For more information, call 970-625-3471.

CMC children’s mini college enrolling

CMC children’s mini college will be enrolling students for the 2014/15 school year from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday April 15. If you are looking a part-day, quality preschool experience for your 3- to 5-year-old child stop by CMC’s Glenwood Center at 1402 Blake Ave. We will also be enrolling children for our June Summer Camp on this day. If you are unable to attend that morning but would like more information about our preschool call 970-945-2446.
