RFMBA Spring Membership Drive Party

The Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association will be hosting a Spring Membership Drive party at Carbondale Beer Works on Saturday, May 17. Beer Works is donating $1 to RFMBA for every beer purchased by the crowd that night. There will be a silent auction from 6:30-9:30 p.m.; acoustic guitar with Pat Mahoney starting at 6:30 p.m.; and live music with Hannibal Brown (fun dance music with a blues flare) from 8-11 p.m.



Destination Imagination fundraiser

Support the Coal Ridge Destination Imagination team’s final fundraiser and help it raise the funds needed to attend the weeklong global final competition in Knoxville, Tenn. From 6-9 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the New Castle Library, come watch the team perform a mystery theater and enjoy desserts and drinks for $5. Space is limited. Rifle Creek Museum opens

Rifle Creek Museum will proudly open its doors on Thursday, May 15, for the 2014 season. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
