Glenwood Insurance Agency launches “The Thousand Can Drive”

Glenwood Insurance Agency has launched an aggressive food drive campaign to assist LIFT-UP in its mission to feed the less fortunate in western Colorado. “The Thousand Can Drive” will task GIA employees with collecting 1,000 cans of food or other nonperishable items for donation to LIFT-UP on Aug. 24.

Music on the Mountain, which takes place on Saturdays during the summer, is an on-going LIFT-UP food drive. Concert goers are asked to donate at least one can to LIFT-UP, and in turn, they are rewarded with a free ride up the Iron Mountain Tramway.

Glenwood Insurance Agency’s “Thousand Can Drive” will attempt to match or exceed the amount of cans collected by Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park at the Aug. 24 Music on the Mountain event.

Those that would like to help Glenwood Insurance Agency may make donations at the agency’s location at 1605 Grand Ave. Unit K in Glenwood Springs.
