Creating web apps with Javascript: An intro to programming
The Carbondale Branch Library is hosting a web application program design workshop for teens. This four-week workshop will be held at 6 p.m. every Thursday in September. A local software engineer from Blue Tent Marketing will teach participants the basics of computer programming using the Javascript scripting language. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to create simple web applications that can be deployed to the world wide web. This workshop is limited to 10 teens that possess a basic understanding of computer mechanics. Participants may bring their own laptops or use one provided by the library. Preregistration is required. Call 963-2889 to register or for more information.
