Valley View Hospital Foundation hosts second “Rally the Valley” fundraiser

Valley View Hospital Foundation hosts the second annual Rally the Valley, a communitywide fundraising event on Saturday, Sept. 21, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Sayre Park. Funds raised provide resources and services to support patients at the Calaway•Young Cancer Center and survivorship and emergency assistance. The event also marks the first anniversary of the Calaway•Young Cancer Center. There are several ways to rally: 24.5-mile bike ride, a four-mile walk through downtown Glenwood Springs or a fun kids parade. At lunchtime, all participants will come together for the Rally Party in Sayre Park for fabulous healthy food by The Pullman, Crystal River Meats and the Valley View Café and Pan and Fork catering, a beer garden, live music and a kids’ zone with bouncy houses and more. Booths on cancer prevention and health will be both educational and inspirational. For more information about the event, to sponsor, to volunteer or to register, visit: http://www.rallythevalley.org or call 970-384-6620.
