Shop Locally, Support Libraries
Did you know that 1/4 of every penny of sales tax collected by Garfield County funds your public libraries? The Garfield County Libraries want to raise awareness about the positive impacts of shopping locally, and are hosting a prize drawing for those who shop in Carbondale. Bring your sales receipts from Carbondale businesses dated between March 6 and April 3 to the Carbondale Branch Library and be entered in a drawing for goods and services donated by local businesses. The drawing will be held at the library on April 3, and you need not be present to win. The drawing is sponsored by the Carbondale Branch Library in conjunction with Roaring Fork Leadership, the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, and businesses throughout Carbondale. For more information call 970-963-2889.
