Community self-defense class

A free community self-defense class will be provided by SAHN Taekwondo Instructors from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Room Two in Carbondale Town Hall. Class is for ages 12 years and older. Preregister is required and available online at http://www.carbondalerec.com. For more information contact the Carbondale Recreation & Community Center at 970-510-1290.

Staff work day closure

All six branches of the Garfield County Libraries will be closed Friday, Oct. 28, for a staff training day. Normal library hours will resume at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. You can still browse and request books, movies, and more on our website, http://www.gcpld.org, during the closure.
