Glenwood Springs Art Guild February demonstration

The Glenwood Springs Art Guild’s February demonstration will be presented at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1630 Grand Avenue, Glenwood Springs. Oil painter Mary Noone will be the demonstrator. The general meeting will follow the demonstration. The demonstration is free to the public. For more information call Alice Davenport at 948-3204.

9th annual Grand Chance for Chocolate

The Grand Chance for Chocolate will feature fine chocolate for sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for two days, Feb. 13 and 14, at the Grand River Café, 501 Airport Road in Rifle. Chocolate choices range from “Fireflower” (dark chocolate with a smattering of cayenne) to chocolate-caramel-pecan frogs. All chocolates are provided by Chocolate Moose in Glenwood Springs. Handmade Cards by Jayne are offered to complete your Valentine needs. The proceeds collected by the Grand River Hospital District Volunteer Association help sponsor its medical career scholarships.
