Annual LIFT-UP Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser scheduled for June 5
LIFT-UP has announced the annual LIFT-UP Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser hosted by Sammy’s Rocky Mountain Steakhouse, presented by Chef Donny Andre, will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 5. All proceeds from the spaghetti plate dinners benefit LIFT-UP. The dinner includes tasty spaghetti, Caesar salad, bread and choice of iced tea or lemonade. Additional beverage options are available for purchase.
Tickets are $12.99 for adults and $6.99 for children (10 & under) and are available by calling LIFT-UP at 970-625-4496 or online at http://www.liftup.org.
Free legal clinic at Basalt Regional Library
A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be featured from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at the Basalt Regional Library, 14 Midland Ave. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders. Walk-ins are welcome, and everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
