GSHS Class of ’97 20-year reunion

The Glenwood Springs High School class of 1997 is holding its 20 year reunion. On Saturday, July 22, the class will celebrate with drinks at Rivers Restaurant starting at 8 p.m. (adults only). On Sunday, July 23, there will be a family barbecue and potluck at Veltus Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join former classmates and reminisce. Beatbox and Rap with Mr. Knee

Mr. Kneel shares his love of reading and helps “Build a Better World” with beatbox and rap versions of the classics from Dr. Seuss to Kurt Vonnegut. The first events will be on Tuesday, July 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Carbondale Library, and 1:30 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Library. On Wednesday, July 26, the Silt Library will host at 10:30 a.m., and the New Castle Library will host at 1:30 p.m. Finally on Thursday, July 27, the event will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Rifle Library, and 1:30 p.m. at the Parachute Library. All are free and open to the public.
