Poetry Slam 2015

The Rifle Library is hosting a teen Poetry Slam in celebration of National Poetry Month. Share a poem or simply listen to others. Refreshments will be provided. This program will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22. For more information, call 970-625-3471.

Rifle Workforce Center open house



The Rifle Workforce Center will hold an open house from 1:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at its new location, 216 W. Third St. The public is invited, and refreshments will be served. A grand opening ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. with members of the Rifle Chamber of Commerce doing the honors and cutting the ribbon. Then, beginning at 2 p.m., the open house will offer a tour and provide information about services and programs to employers and job seekers. Employers can turn to the Rifle Workforce Center for customized recruiting, screening of skilled applicants, on-the-job training incentives, assistance with tax credits and information on employment law.
