Starwood, Aspen’s favorite band from the ’70s, is reuniting for a great night of their original and much-beloved songs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at the Ute Theatre in Rifle.
Their music was the soundtrack to the ’70s. Original members Bobby Mason, Bryan Savage and Haden Gregg will be joined by three of Colorado’s finest musicians: Larry Thompson, JD Martin and Dave Johnson.
Starwood and its individual members have played with nearly every band that came through Aspen in its musical heyday: John Denver, The Eagles, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jimmy Buffett and many more.
