Painting Pages at the library
The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts and Glenwood Springs Library invite you to participate in their collaborative Art and Literacy project, “Painting Pages,” which will be offered at 4 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. This project will run until the end of May. Elementary school-aged children are invited to come enjoy live storytelling and create a work of art that expresses them and the story that they enjoyed. Rifle Rotary looking for host families
Rifle Rotary Club is currently looking for families to host two exchange students studying in the area during the 2015-16 school year.
Rifle High School will be hosting a female exchange student from Thailand who plays the trombone, and Coal Ridge High School will be hosting a young man from Denmark who loves soccer and has played for more than nine years, according to a press release. Participating families would host one student for three months. With both students participating in a year-long exchange, the Rotary Club is look for as many as eight interested families.
