Free legal clinic at Basalt Regional Library

A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be featured from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the Basalt Regional Library, 14 Midland Ave. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders. Walk-ins are welcome, and everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.

Call for prom dresses

The Glenwood Springs Branch Library is accepting donations of gently used prom or formal dresses. Donated dresses will be available for teens to try on and take home at two upcoming prom dress giveaway events at the library from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, March 9, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11. St. Patrick’s Day Dinner

The American Legion Post 100 is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner starting at 5 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the American Legion Hall, 97 N. Third St. in Carbondale. Cost is $10 for traditional corned beef and cabbage.

The dinner is open to the public and will be served until the food runs out. Call 963-2381 for more information.
