Frederica Young makes dean’s list, joins honor society
Frederica Young of New Castle has made the deans’ list at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Young, majoring in neuroscience, is honored for a fall semester 2015 academic standing of a 3.5 or better grade-point average. Young is a 2015 graduate of Coal Ridge High School.
Young has also accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation’s only interdisciplinary honors organization for first-year and second-year college students. Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class standing.
