Gina Di Pasquo recognized by Purdue University for academic achievements
Gina Di Pasquo of Carbondale was among about 13,600 Purdue University students earning semester honors for the spring 2013 semester.
To earn semester honors, students must be attending at least half-time, have at least a 3.5 semester grade point average and at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
Western Rockies Federal Credit Union offers classroom grants
Western Rockies Federal Credit Union announces the availability of grants for classroom projects and events that teach aspects of financial education. The grants range between $50 and $500. Classroom teachers from Mesa and Garfield County K-12 public, private and charter schools are eligible to apply.
Application deadline is Friday, Nov. 15. Applications are available at the Western Rockies Federal Credit Union North Avenue, Fruita, Clifton and Rifle branches. For more information, contact Deborah Scenters at 970-243-2434 or email@example.com.

Sally Barnes, a Northern Arizona University SecEd-Spanish (BSED) major and resident of Glenwood Springs, was among more than 4,500 students who made the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester.
