Letter: Amazing effort for Nepal

Patty Grace
Glenwood Springs

I want to send a heartfelt, joy-filled letter to everyone whom help create, contributed and participated in the most amazing fundraiser events I have ever had the honor to be a part of.

The Nepali Earthquake Relief Fundraiser brought a community together with resources, ideas, information and hard work to create an event that would ordinarily take weeks to put together. It was accomplished in just six days. As I have always said, when there is a real need, this valley drops what it’s doing, jumps in with both feet and does what needs to be done. It is truly incredible.

There is a very long road to recovery for this small country, and for those in our community whose lives have been changed forever. This is a start. Many thanks to all of you.
