Quilt raffle

On Dec. 13, the winning ticket for the king-size raffle quilt “Amish with a Twist II” was drawn from hundreds of entries. The lucky winner is Michelle Mauch of Cincinnati, who visited the Roaring Fork Valley over Labor Day weekend. The huge, multicolored quilt will be shipped to Ms. Mauch before the year’s end.

This is the first raffle quilt created by the Roaring Fork Quilt Guild members, who meet at the Carbondale Branch Library at 10:15 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Membership is open to anyone interested in quilting and wanting to learn more.
