Watch D.O.G.S. make the scene

Crystal River Elementary School Dads and male relatives of students showed up in record numbers for pizza, and to sign up for the Watch D.O.G.S. program on Jan. 21. Based on the turnout, the CRES Watch D.O.G.S. program offers another way for the school’s supportive parent community to contribute to the success of all students.

The program aims to bring more adult male role models into schools, and the launch event was designed to get Dads of Great Students (D.O.G.S) into the school building and to enjoy White House Pizza. In addition, dads signed up for the program, and the local police administered the fingerprinting process required for all volunteers in Roaring Fork schools.
