Kiwanian of the year

Larry Robinson was named Kiwanian of the year at the Kiwanis meeting on Oct. 8. Karl Oelke, outgoing president, presented the award. Larry was recognized for his unstinting service to the club for the past several years, primarily for his “showing up” whenever Kiwanis needed another volunteer. In addition to his servant leader attitude, Larry has served as club treasurer, has undertaken the new position of Club Safety Officer, and coordinated the five Terrific Kids programs in the Valley. As Karl said, “Whenever we need someone to do a job, we can count on Larry.”
