Skramstads celebrate 50 years
Sam and Julie Skramstad, residents of Glenwood Springs for 35 years, were married in Hibbing, Minnesota, on May 29,1965. They were the owners of Gambles Ace Hardware/Glenwood Appliance when Sam was the mayor of Glenwood Springs. He then worked at CMC, and Julie was employed at 20/20 EyeCare. They retired to Grand Junction in 2011. Their children, Steve (Jill) of New Castle, Craig (Jackie) of Glenwood Springs, and Jennifer (Kevin) of Drexel, Missouri, are hosting an open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Please join us in celebrating their accomplishment. No gifts, please. Cards welcomed!
