OWL Award winners

The Kiwanis Club of Glenwood Springs recognized these eight OWL Award winners on May 12. The OWL Award recognizes academic achievement and volunteerism among Glenwood Springs High School juniors. From left: Abby Kruse, Charlie Mechling, Kendall Vanderhoof, Erick Quintanilla Orantes, Leo Tonozzi, Will Osier, Dylan Mechling and Michael Wirth, who received the Marble OWL Award. The Marble OWL award recognizes the student who best exemplifies the Kiwanis ideals of serving the children of the world and community service. From a class of 180 students, and eight students selected for OWL awards, Kiwanis honors this student for embodying the OWL standards of wisdom and leadership, and of taking advantage of the opportunity to lead and serve in the community.
