Parents welcome Bo Alexander Garrett
Amanda Rene Walling and Stacey Karl Garrett of Basalt are the proud parents of Bo Alexander Garrett. Bo was born at Valley View Hospital at 8:06 a.m. June 15, 2015. He weighed 7 pounds, 1.5 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long at birth. His grandparents are Olan and Marie Chapman of Big Spring, Texas, and Ray and Gail Garrett of Tauranga, New Zealand. The parents say he has great strength, is curious and smart, has a mild temperament, and is very content and loving. “We couldn’t be happier to have such a healthy precious baby boy.”
Cub Scouts Pack 221 earns recognition
Recently, the New Castle Cub Scouts Pack 221 was honored by the 3 Rivers District as being the No. 1 Cub Scout Pack in the Western Colorado Region, and was one of only three packs to receive the Gold Journey to Excellence Award. Williamses welcome baby girl
Joey and Nadya Williams of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Nyla Celeste Williams, at 8:49 a.m. on June 11, 2015. Nyla weighed 6 pounds, 12.8 ounces and was 18 inches long at birth.
Grandparents are Kathy Williams, Tom Williams, Aide Muñoz and Abel Arana of Glenwood Springs.
