Elks honor veterans

Glenwood Springs Elks Lodge 2286 held a celebration on Veterans Day that included the recognition of four World War II veterans from our area. Each are more than 90 years old. They represented the Army and Navy where they served meritoriously in the 1940s in Europe and the South Pacific. It was a great honor for Elks members to honor these veterans along those that served later and for our active military men and women. BPOE Elks is a fraternal organization that among other objective focuses on the assistance to veterans and active military members.
