Enterprise Foundation announces award recipients
Professional Auto Body and Enterprise Holdings Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the company that, through its regional subsidiaries, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, are pleased to announce the local recipients of the 2015 Enterprise Foundation grant awards. Congratulations to YouthZone, Hospice of the Valley and Family Visitor Programs, which each received grants of $1,000. This is the fourth year the Enterprise Holdings Foundation has awarded grants to nonprofits in the Roaring Fork Valley. Nationwide, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation has donated $18 million dollars in 2014.
YouthEntity receives grant to fund financial literacy
YouthEntity has received a $45,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its “I Am Financial Knowledge” program.
YouthEntity is a community and youth development initiative dedicated to helping youth succeed, no matter what they want to do when they grow up. Their goal is to engage and empower youth to discover their potential by providing real-world learning experiences. Through its programs, youth see how their collective efforts play out in real life, building their self-confidence and providing an authentic source of hope for their futures.
Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television known for his kindness and generosity to those in need, established the Daniels Fund to provide grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. For more information, visit http://www.danielsfund.org.

Henderson family named New Castle Volunteer of the Year
The Henderson family — Laura and Jeremy, Siri, Ella and Gage — have been named New Castle’s Volunteers of the Year. The Hendersons were chosen for selfless service in a number of areas. All of the family members are happy volunteers. The award, which included an annual family pass generously donated by Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, was presented at the annual volunteer party. Congratulations to this very deserving family.
