Jordan-Warkentin wedding

Kortney Marie Jordan of  Norfolk, Va., and Kevin Tyler Warkentin of Glenwood Springs were married July 7, 2013, at Aspen Glen with Pastor Doug Self presiding.

Kortney is the daughter of Kenneth and Willadean Thiery. She graduated from Windsor (Virginia) High School in 2007. She works for the United States Navy.

Kevin is the son of Jack and Cindy Warkentin. He graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 2007. He also works for the United States Navy.

Maid of Honor was Emilie Cox. Bridesmaids were Mathew Abresch (manmaid), Kelsey Warkentin, sister of groom, and Lexie Warkentin, sister of groom.

Best Man was James Thomas. Groomsmen were Tucker Riley, Josh Currier and Van Wampler.

Ring bearer was Ethan Abresch.

The couple honeymooned in Snowmass and are at home in Newport News, Va.

Both are Navy nuclear mechanics. The groom is currently on deployment overseas and attached to the USS Harry S. Truman.

The bride is attached to the USS Abraham Lincoln. The groom intends on finishing his BS in nuclear engineering Technologies, the bride plans to study pharmacology.
