GSES students enjoy CMC visit

We from Glenwood Springs Elementary School second grade would like to thank Colorado Mountain College for letting us come for free.

CMC opened up Spring Valley Campus to 100 second graders. They let us go to CARE and try our determination on the ropes course, which was unusual for some of us who are afraid of heights. But we stretched ourselves and felt that we could do it, that we were brave.

They also gave us a tour of a real college campus. There are two beds in a dorm room, even a restroom and a small kitchen.

They showed us an amazing game room where the college students can relax and play video games. We want a room like that.

On top of all that they also gave each and every one of us a CMC shirt to keep.

We appreciate you so much for inviting us and letting us spend the day at Spring Valley CMC campus.
